How to Replace the Alternator in a Toyota Paseo

How to Replace the Alternator in a Toyota Paseo

As part of the charging system of your Toyota Paseo, the alternator recharges the battery and supplies electric current to the cooling fan, ignition coil, computer and other electric components. Driving your Paseo with a bad alternator may lead to an undercharged battery, dimmed headlights or a dead engine at night in the middle of nowhere. Replacing your Toyota alternator is a simple job. However, depending on your particular model, you might need to remove one or more drive belts first. Consult your car owner's manual, if necessary, before you start.
